Ben leads the team and has over 25 years of pan European experience

From 2013-16 he was Head of Real Estate at Oaktree Capital Management’s pan European Non Performing Loan platform, a role that encompassed all of the group’s underwriting and asset management activities. He was responsible for €5.5bn of Assets under Management

Prior to this Ben was Fund Manager of the Westbury Property Fund and led the reverse takeover of Eddie Stobart. Becoming Group Property Director of the resultant FTSE250 listed Stobart Group - a green, asset backed, road, rail and water logistics business - Ben also led the disposal of Westbury’s £140m real estate portfolio and the acquisition of a rail freight terminal as part of the transaction

Starting his career at Hiller Parker where he spent 4 years in Fund Management, Ben moved to PRICOA Property Investment Management in 1999 as Head of UK Transactions and Fund Manager of two funds, one a UK Multi Let Industrial fund and the other a US pension plan’s European portfolio

Ben holds a BA (Hons) Economics & Economic History from the University of Liverpool and a MA Property Valuation & Law from City University Business School, University of London. Ben also holds the Investment Management Certificate and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Investment Property Forum and the CFA Society of the UK
